Robert C Logel (Robert Logel) graduated from Ithaca College in 1985 with a BS Degree in Finance. During college, he also played 2 sports: Varsity Basketball and Varsity Football. Upon graduation, he was hired into the executive management program at Fleet Bank. He graduated from that executive program and became a branch manager and commercial lender with the bank until April 1988.
He continued to play basketball and coach at various AAU levels as well as midget football programs through New York State. He became an avid golfer and maintained golf memberships at Transit Valley Country club as well as Brookfield Country Club. He played in the Buffalo District golf tournaments for many years. He also belonged to Porsche club enthusiasts and enjoyed road racing events.
He began a very successful career in the insurance industry starting in 1989 and ending in 2009. During this 20-year period, he belonged to the Million Dollar Roundtable and was a top producer with Metropolitan Life and John Hancock Mutual Life. He maintained a Regional Vice President position with John Hancock managing a sales force of 500+ sales reps in the Northeast.
His largest client was HSBC bank which distributed John Hancock products under my supervision. He retired from John Hancock in 2009 to pursue venture capital opportunities. He is a certified dog trainer and also certified in dog CPR. He is a huge dog lover and can train any breed at any temperament level.
